How to get there!

Below there are maps which you may find useful.

There are ferry crossings from Uig in Skye to Tarbert in Harris or alternatively crossings from Ullapool to Stornoway.
If you are travelling from Tarbert, take the A359 to Stornoway. On the outskirts of Stornoway you will come to your first roundabout. Take your first left onto the A857. After a few yards you will pass the sign for the hospital. Continue travelling for approximately 15 minutes and a petrol station will be on your left and shortly the road will bend round to your right (where it meets the A858) into Lower Barvas. Continue along the A857 for approximately ¾ of a mile. Sandaig cottage will be on your left  No 45.
If travelling from Stornoway follow the signs for Ness, and the hospital. The hospital is at the start of the A857.etc.
